The North Wing Addition is a new building to an existing nursing building designed by Jerry Ford in the mid–Seventies adding 10 guest rooms in two 5-room suites. The addition stylistically bridges the 1970’s institutional building of the North Wing and the “cottage” setting that is the recent model for nursing on the Tenacre campus. It includes sustainable features such as high performance geothermal heating and cooling, high performance insulation, solar hot water, energy star appliances, renewable and recycled building materials. 

The East Cottages feature two new stand-alone, 5 guest room nursing residences. Each building has separate guestrooms with a common living room, dining room, kitchen, and sunroom spaces. High performance geothermal heating and cooling, green roof, high performance insulation, energy star appliances, renewable and recycled building materials, high interior environmental air quality are some of its sustainable features.
