Crescent Houses Additions & Dormitories

THE LAWRENCEVILLE SCHOOL

Rooted in the centuries-old tradition of British boarding schools, The Lawrenceville House System treats student housing as an educational opportunity in itself. Each House has its own distinct character, shaped by the personalities of its leaders. Ford 3 assisted the School in creating architecture that reflected the essence of each of the Crescent Houses. Enlivening the common spaces with bay windows and porches creates a harmonious link between the interior and the exterior. The Stephens House was the first to be renovated during the summer of 2010. The other two Crescent Houses, Stanley and McClellan, are to be finished by September 2011.
